Alisha Batth is a Singer/Songwriter currently based in Ludhiana, India. 
 Creating independently and not under any label, she has carved her music to be one resonant with also the journey of life. Diving into folk/alternative-rock, she released her debut EP ’ Prologue ' in October 2018. With the sound leaning towards her major influences from the 90’s, with a minimalistic approach towards instruments and production — desire, introspection and understanding of the forces that create & nurture life have been recurring themes in her music. 
 Most recent releases have been singles like ‘ Blue River’ , ‘ All I Want ’ and ‘ Language of Creation’ . Some completely self-produced. Performing live since 2008, she has played across India, Europe, Scandinavia and the US at festivals such as Magnetic Fields, NH7, Sofar Sounds, so on. She has featured on MTV India Coke Studio in a collaboration for the track ‘Do Gallan’. Having been self-taught in guitar and voice, although she eventually attended Berklee College of Music in 2015 for a year and half before moving on to releasing her own songs. Features for magazines and publications include Cosmopolitan, Vogue, Rolling Stone, Elle, Grazia and others. Having lived in cities like Mumbai, New Delhi, Boston and Paris, she likes to think of herself as constantly expanding and learning, while taking the teachings and gifts of each place to bring about opportunities for personal and artistic growth.
