Dr. Leonard Scott is co-founder of Tyscot Records, the oldest operating Black-owned Gospel music label in the world. The Indianapolis, IN-based dentist founded the label in 1976 to record his church choir's first album. Over the years, Tyscot has birthed some of Gospel music's biggest artists such as John P. Kee, Anthony Brown and group therAPy, and Deitrick Haddon. Along the way, Dr. Scott, who began his career playing guitar in a funk R and B band, has recorded over a dozen traditional or praise and worship styled albums that include fan favorites such as "Lord, You Reign" and the "Pentecostal Praise Medley."
