Band formed in São Paulo, Brazil, in 1991, in the basements of the main alternative clubs in the capital. His first decade of activities was an inspiration for many Brazilian artists. With an innovative gothic rock mixed with melancholic lyrics inspired by the great names of poets and writers from around the world, Das Projekt emerges as one of the main bands in the Brazilian dark scene. Despite starting with few resources to release their work in South America, Das Projekt der Krummen Mauern marked an important story in the first phase of their career, releasing their first album in the first decade of their journey. Two years later the band ended its activities. Reemerging from the ashes, like a phoenix, giving a renewed sound, now with more worked arrangements, thematic albums emerge, as well as a certain morbidity and voracity in their songs. In this second phase the band is renamed Das Projekt. With the frenetic speed of current times, social networks, the digital market, the band leveraged its name internationally, collecting 5 more albums, some EPs, as well as many shows in and out of Brazil. The band was featured in Peek A Boo Magazine, on tour nationwide with top names in alternative rock, playing with Trisomie 21 , The Beauty of Gemina, The Mission , Plastique Noir , Two Witches and others. In March 2024, the band released the sixth album of their career, and the first as a power trio, with the title "Down to earth".
