Triston & Dave is a Dutch DJ duo with a single goal: to entertain the world with their signature sound. Both enjoyed a youth filled with music and got their inspiration from 80s and 90s electronic pop artists. Triston got influenced by several legends in the music history, such as Grandmaster Flash, Beastie Boys, Depeche Mode, Michael Jackson and Tiesto. Dave got inspired by Daft Punk, Ferry Corsten and Armin van Buuren, due to their innovative use of synthesizers. This interesting combination of musical tastes soon resulted in a very unique sound. Their music is characterized by its house sound, epic themes and straightforward style, fused with melodic synths to create a powerful and energetic, yet emotional musical journey. Thanks to their interesting sound, they managed to release four records in their first year as a duo. Also, they won an international anthem remix contest, which resulted in two gigs on Russian festival A-Zov Fest. In 2013, they released four more tracks on National Sound Records, and one of their records, ‘The Start’ reached #1 in the DJ Tunes Top 100 Progressive House Charts! The duo got to play at venues worldwide, varying from gigs in Turkey, Russia, China and many more! Due to their growing success, they were able to release a record on Ferry Corsten’s Flashover Recordings and another two records on Armin van Buuren’s Armada Music. The last track even got played by Orjan Nilsen at his World Tour during his opening sets.
