John Paul Dela Cruz (born June 20, 1991) known professionally as J. Crooz is a Filipino rapper independent/signed rap artist at Own Wave Records. J. Crooz was born and raised in San Juan City. His rap career began in 2019 and started using his monicker "Too Smooth" that lasted a month with 1 single titled "Kill Switch". Due to copyright issue of his monicker "Too Smooth" was changed to "Tymo Cruz" with 8 released singles. In mid 2021, Tymo Cruz has decided to changed his monicker to "J. Crooz" for personal reason and drops a freestyle track titled "Good Luck" as pre-track for his debut EP Album titled "Better Late Than Never". J. Crooz is also the owner of the Clothing line "Too Smooth Clothing" in Philippines that started June of 2020. J.
