Going on 15 years of experience in the entertainment, travel and hospitality industry, Yewplay has always enjoyed creating opportunities to bring people together with music, entertainment and good vibes. Originally born in South Africa, Yewplay moved to then live in Australia at the age of 5. After college he started traveling the world working and studying the hospitality industry and that is where he discovered his love for events and music, especially house, tropical and deep house sounds being played around the pool, beach or on a boat. For the next decade he did a mix of events, hospitality and Djing, that kept Yewplay very busy and up to date on the scene. In his career he has DJed in places like Vancouver, Cabo Mexico, South Beach Miami, Ibiza, Iceland, India, Manchester and different cities in USA and Australia. Now based in USA, he has stepped away from the hospitality industry to focus on producing music and running the new record label Day and Night Project with Jimmy Bell and Nick Hussey. In 2019, Yewplay started producing music and has really enjoyed being in the studio with the team creating tracks for the Day and Night Project label and for the Steamy Windows Music Brand. When Yewplay is not DJing or working on music event or production, he is building and managing his event Sundown Sounds Cruise in Florida and also sits on the board of directors for community- based companies like the Boys and Girls Club of Alexandria and Where Love Grows.
