"The Fluffy Jackets first appeared in London with a self-titled EP in 2007, but it was not until 2014 that they made a dent in the charts with the debut album «Fighting Demons». Engineered at Sun Studio (Memphis TN) by Grammy-winner Matt Ross Spang (Rival Sons, Jason Isbell), 'Fighting Demons' became a critical success, winning a UK Radio "Best Studio Album of the Year" award and also earring the band their first international hit with «Why Don’t You Smile». The single was particularly memorable for featuring a sizzling guitar solo from Nazareth guitar legend Manny Charlton, backed up by bassist Neil Murray (Whitesnake) and Jerry Lee Lewis‘ drummer Rob Hall (The Killer Band). In 2019, The Fluffy Jackets released a sophomore album with Manny Charlton on board as the producer and co-writer. "Something from Nothing" included a tribute to Glen Campbell with the song “Better Place”, featuring Alison Cooper on duet vocals. The accompanying Making-Of documentary DVD featured live performances and celebrated the band's decade long history with retrospective interviews with Neil Murray (Whitesnake) and Manny Charlton (Nazareth). The Fluffy Jackets released a highly anticipated third album on 17th May 2024, featuring international collaborations, including LA slide-guitarist Matt Bradford.
