Lauren Black is an American Country Singer/Songwriter who has been developing her art as a full time musician since 2014. The first major stage she stepped on was at the Co-America Theatre in her hometown of Phoenix, AZ opening for Alice Cooper after winning his Proof is in the Pudding Songwriting Competition at just 16 years old. Following that, she was named runner in the NSAI Songwriting Competition hosted by CMT, and won MTV's Cover of The Month Competition with 34 million votes in 2017. Occasionally Black releases cover's of her favorite songs in effort for new fans to discover her original music. Her cover of Chance The Rapper's 2016 Hit "Same Drugs," landed her on the Discovery Weekly Playlist with Patric Johnston where they have hit over 1.2 million streams to date. She currently has a catalog of over 75 unreleased original songs, and has self-funded her entire career to this point retaining 100% over her music. She is represented by DNT Entertainment.
