Born and raised in Las Vegas, Nevada, DJ Kameo has been rising the ranks of talented hip hop artist. His always had a strong musical background due to how he grew up. His father was a DJ, song writer, and singer back in his time but Kameo didn't get his passion for DJing from him, but what he did get from him is his passion for preforming, singing, song writing, and an ear for music. Kameo learned the basics of DJing form his high school friend and decided that it was something he wanted to pursue. Kameo has been writing songs since he was 12 years old as a christian rapper but begin recording the beginning of 2017. He grew up listening to 90's and late 80's rap, old school funk, and soul. Kameo's style is unlike anyone else but he is influenced by other artist such as Kendrick Lamar, Hopsin, Dizzy Wright, Eric Bellinger, Joyner Lucas, Drake, and more. Kameo will be the same person all around that you hear in my songs, that you see on stage, and that you would meet on the streets. His music comes from a real place, so he talks about more than money, girls, cars and wealth, but still can bring the party DJ vibes.
