Old materials, newly tailored: For ten years the four guitar virtuosos from Germany, the Munich and bavaria area have been inspiring with a new approach to the classical guitar. As the inventors of the "Guitarra Nueva", they dare to play the great composers as well as well-known film tunes and things you have to first experience. 
 They do all this on cabarets as well as in the big concert halls. Even the demanding audience of New York's legendary Carnegie Hall were thrilled by the winking, nonchalant skills of the Machados last year. 
 Whether interpretations of Mozart, Rossini, Piazzolla or the original composition for the novel Tschick - the Guitar Quartet sounds, pauses, lets the music air - and its audience room to smile. In their almost two-hour foray through epochs, genres and all levels of subtlety, the likeable professional musicians show their audience how something works that should simply be called "classical entertainment".
 Perry Schack, Stefanie Kobras, Ingo Veit and Bernhard Prüflinger have succeeded in making a name for themselves regionally and internationally as Machado Quartett. (famous guitarquartett). Performances at Carnegie Hall in New York (2017), at the Philharmonie in Kiev (2019) and most recently at the ARD Radio Festival at International Music Festival Schlosskonzerte Weilburg are highlights in the quartet's history.
