Fasa Franklin, formerly known as “Mook Moolah,” brings a revitalizing energy to the music scene. Where did he come from, and what stories does he tell in his music? His lyrics are vivid and engaging, painting pictures with words and leaving listeners eager for more. While his music may not always inspire dancing, it does prompt thoughtful reflection, offering substance and encouraging deeper consideration of life. Hailing from Chicago, the Windy City, Fasa rejects the nickname “Chi-Raq,” which reflects the city’s increasing violence. As the eldest of four boys raised by a single parent, he took on the “Man of the House” role early on. Though initially intrigued by street life, he credits his faith for steering him away from its dangers, instead recognizing his talent as his path out. Fasa’s first album, “Apnea or VpneV,” is just the beginning, with many more to follow. To stay updated on his music, follow him at @1andonlyfasa on all platforms. Be blessed.
