The revered musician "DAVEYTHEGREAT" also known as DTG is, Olofome David Olorife, originally born in Lagos, Nigeria. His upbringing continued in the United States, Baltimore, MD. He would call this place his second home. At 12 years old, Olofome would start writing music after being inspired by rap artists 50 Cent, Eminem, and Cassidy. DTG is consistent with his keen skill in producing hard hitting bangers. He released a playlist “Militia Boy” in 2016 which had various songs chart to the top 10 on SoundCloud which garnered attention from local and various internet critics supporting his movement. These titles were released under his independent label “ZQUAD BOYZ MILITIA INTERNATIONAL”. Since then Olofome has collaborated with various artists such as Walt!, Terrance Escobar, MikeyTha$avage and many more. His many works feature production from the likes of King Yosef, prxz, F1LTHY, GRP, MexikoDro & many more. He has performed on the biggest stages in America from the east to the west coast, such as the Baltimore Soundstage, and at various festivals such as SXSW. During his last year of college at Towson University, he released his first album titled "Tower of David" which has had various songs receive favorable praise as well as placement on urban radio and video games.
