South African recording artist Lelona-Thando Njokweni, better known as UYIHLO was born on 4th February 1999 in the most populous city in the Eastern Cape, eGqeberha. He spent his earlier years honing his writing and production skills, with a release of his first mixtape titled 'Ten Thousand Hours' in the year 2017, and a continued spawning of three unofficial projects and multiple single releases throughout the years. Until his first official EP titled 'New Earth' being released in 2020. He continues to maintain a consistent and prolific output. With his distinct and unique approach to making records, he is poised to become one of the leading voices in South African Hip-Hop.
