I'm Halfdan E, award winning filmcomposer etc etc - and yes, I've won awards and prizes for my film scores, which tend to work well with the films and series I've done - take Borgen, a Danish TV-series that exploded all over the world, being a substantial part of the wave Nordic Noir - or Badehotellet (Seaside Hotel) that has become the single most popular series in Denmark ever, now in its 10th season. Awards are terrible though - they're there to remind you how cool you were back then. I'm here for the future. I've done wonderful work with Per Fly on his feature films known as The Trilogy, and lately the series Gidseltagningen and DNA II. I've worked with norwegian director Hans Petter Moland on several films, and done amazing work in the UK - not least the series Apple Tree Yard. I seem to be a fish in the water with everything from comedy to action - and I'm not shying away from jazz, orchestral or electronics. Whatever makes the picture work, I'll go there. I've produced and composed albums with artists such as danish beatpoet Dan Turèll, pop icons Tv-2 and singer Peter Belli, all three of them danish legends. I originate as rock musician playing bass and touring with a host of danish acts like Dieters Lieder, Gangway, Laid Back and Poul Krebs.
