Biography

Born in Mendoza, Argentinian pianist Elena Dabul is a performer, professor and researcher. She obtained a Masters degree in 20th Century Latin American Music Performance at Facultad de Artes y Diseño of Universidad Nacional de Cuyo (UNCuyo). She has performed extensively in Argentina, Chile, Ecuador, Venezuela, Peru, Brazil, Germany, Czech Republic, United Kingdom, Italy and United States. She has received awards and distinctions on several occasions and has been praised by the press for the quality of her performances and the beauty of her sound. She acted as a soloist with the UNCuyo Symphony Orchestra, Mar del Plata Symphony Orchestra, Orquesta Filarmónica de Mendoza, Orquesta Sinfónica de la Universidad Nacional de San Juan, Argentine National Symphony Orchestra, Orquesta Sinfónica Nacional del Perú, Rio de Janeiro National Symphony Orchestra, Juan de Dios Filiberto National Orchestra and UNCuyo Youth Orchestra. She has recorded more than 10 CD with works for solo and chamber piano by Argentine composers. She is a full professor of Piano and Chamber Music at the UNCuyo. She is part of the Academic Advisory Committee and the teaching staff of the Masters Degree in 20th Century Latin American Music Performance at the same institution.
