MoeCarro was born and raised in Houston, TX. From the beginning, she was exposed to music ranging from gospel to jazz. At the age of 5, she discovered her ability to sing and her love for music. While attending Willowridge High School, that love flourished. All four years, MoeCarro played bass drum, ultimately earning her spot as section leader. Being in the band under the direction of Ronald Thornton, she learned that music is about pride, discipline, honor and respect. Throughout her teen years, she sang with several gospel groups including James Fortune and Fiya. These opportunities allowed her vocal abilities to be nurtured and mature. Although she doesn’t have the appearance of your typical R&B singer, MoeCarro’s smooth, sultry sound can captivate an audience. Her musical inspiration stems from artist such as Jill Scott, Lauryn Hill and India Arie. Stepping out on faith, MoeCarro decided to pursue music full-time as an indie artist. On a mission to spread her name, perform on every stage possible and share her vocal talent, she funded her own coast to coast tour hitting stages in Hollywood, Miami, Atlanta, Austin and many others cities across the country. She plans to continue to make music with meaning as she grows in this music industry.
