Ramya RamC is an undergraduate student at Wilfrid Laurier University, majoring in Western Vocal Music and Business Management. She can sing in English, French, Tamil,Telugu, Malayalam, Hindi, Punjabi, Gujurathi, Marathi, Spanish, and Italian. She has been learning Carnatic music under Sri. Delhi. V. Muthukumar sir, for the past three years, and Bharatanatyam from Smt. Senthil Selvi Sureswaran under the Kalakshetra bani. Ramya has also learnt Hindustani music from Ustad Ghulam Niyaz Ali Khan and has sung for the Singapore based short film “Aasai”, Web Series "Oru Kal Oru Kannaadi", and released her first original “Pesum Kannaadi” in 2020 through music director Pravin Mani. In 2019, Ramya won the New Zealand based “Tamil Karaoke Star” competition as well as the Ninaivakul group competition in 2016. She has also been a finalist in The Voice of Clubhouse Telugu edition with Ashwin Vinayagamurthy, Chinmayi Sripaada, and Rakendu Mouli, CMR Star Search, Sruti Smule Competition, and a semi finalist in the CMI Malayalam Vocal Competition with judges Anuradha Sriram, and Jayadevan Nair.
