A Philadelphia native, Phyre grew up with a tough childhood but also a love for playing and writing music. Obstacles were and still are plenty, but his passion for the art has never faded. At the age of 6 he began playing piano, and then through the years gained a proficiency on over 16 different instruments. As an eclectic individual, his musical preferences were a vast range which many in his environment never understood. Inevitably, he began his Hip-Hop venture at the age of 9, relating to the struggle of his community and many like it. At the age of 15 he began performing and recording on a professional level, but as life goes there were many trying times that halted progress. Finally, he’s back to doing what he loves. And regardless of the genre, he lives to create symphonic melodies that touch the heart and move the soul.
