Caught between two cultures, born as the daughter of a Persian father and a German mother, Kaye-Ree’s artist soul finds her home mostly in music and its different forms of expression. The feeling of not belonging to one culture in particular becomes an instrument that gives her the ability to harness creativity from other cultures. Her musical path leads her from working with several producers to finding her German composing- and touring partner Felix Justen, a classical guitarist, later her Afghani tabla player Kiomars Nawab. They now record & tour internationally with a 7 piece band and create their own unique music style, the press calls "Global Soul". In course of her career she starts her own record label "Reelement Records" and stays an independent artist until today. Her first two albums "Endless Melody" and "New Air" receive an amazing resonance from the media, considering her independent path. Kaye-Ree loves to use her music as her vessel to reflect on her own growth as well as society's chances to develop into a healthier and more united world.
