Biography

Scott Turner's musical efforts represent a lifetime of dedication and complete love of the medium. He wears many hats within the music community, those of singer-songwriter, entertainer-performer and engineer-producer. By the age of 15 he was giving guitar lessons at the local music store and began writing and recording his own music. After leaving college, Scott got a record deal with a small independent Pennsylvania record label. Since then he has performed with several band formations throughout Pennsylvania and New York, spending some summers performing on the shore in New Jersey. From South Street to Greenwich Village, he has performed as a solo artist with acoustic guitar, voice and harmonica. Continuing to expand on his ability to play multiple instruments, he formed the band of one (bandof1) the one man band. He expands on the instrument list in the studio, quite often playing all the instruments himself. Just when you want to place this music into some indie genre, it merges into alternative rock filled with splashes of reggae, bluegrass, blues, zydeco, country, trop rock ... you get the idea. The genre blurring efforts of Scott Turner's music is continuing to blossom. Stand by for future releases.
