247 first got his start in Nap Town with a high school friend who went by Black Element. They started a group called Royaltee before moving to Nashville, TN. Royaltee took on minor success in the Nashville hip hop scene before going there separate ways a couple years later. Black Cat Sylvester, Mas Yelah & Bobby Exodus formerly members of Royaltee, would continue making music with 247 under a new name. Finding a new start in Murfreesboro, TN he came in contact with a local jazz band called Spooky Johnson. They toured briefly while also playing bars, clubs and house shows multiple nights a week. Spooky Johnson went on to produce a full length album that was never officially released. 247 eventually made his way back into the Nashville scene in the late 2000's. Out of Place was formed in 2004 after 247's former group (IEnquiring Minds) took a short hiatus. Along with the help of turntablists Ugly Lovely & Black Cat Sylvester, they produced their first album "Genetic Defects". Currently the group has relocated to Austin, TX in search of new music to explore.
