Creator of high quality street music. Mr. Sawed-Off is a hip-hop recording artist from Milwaukee, WI., known for bringing rap music back to the streets. Mr. Sawed-Off began his musical journey in 1989 as "Kaos", a eighth grader, writing peoms in class. One day, a fellow student asked to hear one of his poems. After hearing the poem, the listener replied "Yo, that almost sounds like a rap! Say it again but like a rap"! After repeating the poem like a rap, a new fire was lit. Up to 1993, Kaos battle rapped until recruited to form a super-group called "The Outsiders". The group insisted on a name change for Kaos, the group voted for "Mr. Sawed-Off" since he always walked around with a sawn off shotgun. In 1999 Mr. Sawed-Off moved to Jackson, MS for 13 years. In that time, he recorded 2018's State Flagz (The Mississippi Disc), Bond Money and the upcoming album 'Population Control'. In 2012, Mr. Sawed-Off returned to Wisconsin owner of Outsydr Music Group, which brought along the reunited Outsydrs on 2018's State Flagz (The Wisconsin Disc). 2017 came with a joint-album with Savannah, GA's Nitti! for Be-Frenemies. January of 2018, Mr. Sawed-Off came back with a string of projects including The Janitor & his first album without profanity Ear Candy. As well as a February dual EP release It's Not Braggin' If It's True & Chillionaire. March 2018 brought on Love & Forgiveness as the Gospel artist Ealy with a upcoming album "The Gospel of Grace" on the way.
