Scott Ferguson, aka ROBOT84, has been a prominent DJ and Producer in the underground music scene since the 90s. In the 2000s, he ventured into production and released the highly acclaimed vinyl "ROBOT84 vs Native Dub" in 2019, followed by a series of limited edition vinyl releases exclusively through Juno Records UK. His tracks have gained recognition from notable figures like Jon Sa Trinxa, Danny Rampling, Colleen 'Cosmo' Murphy, and more. BBC Radio 1 and 6 have also played his music. Before his ROBOT84 venture, Scott spent years DJing, working at Bomba Records, co-owning Defunkt Records, and performing with renowned artists such as Moodymann and Josh Wink. In 2012, he gained significant recognition with the release of "Pleasuredome Rework, FGTH" as R84. Since then, he has signed with various labels and collaborated with esteemed artists. Despite facing the challenges of recovering from a major stroke in 2022, Scott looks forward to an eventful 2023 with exciting upcoming projects.
