J.O Stoneheadz is a New York based artist who grew up on the island of Dominica, in the Caribbean. Being surrounded by reggae, dance hall, and the many other genres, which helped to grow his love for music. J.O began his music career as a DJ at the age of ten. He then moved onto rap shortly after, and quickly fell in love with it. After high school, he started to perform at local venues all over New York with his group, "The Stoneheadz". Now a few years later, J.O Stoneheadz has dropped a plethora of good music while staying true to who he is and showcasing his versatility. Teaming up with producers like Vinny Idol, Idontsleep and more, he has found a unique sound at the right time. With story-telling lyrics and hard hitting bars, he's exactly what the game has been missing. Having done shows with artist like Styles P, Cory Gunz, Fred da Godson, Capone, Eugy Official and Mr Cheeks to name a few. J.O has grown into one of the best artists around. With so many different styles and flows, and he isn't afraid to try something new. He started to make House music a few years ago with producer Idontsleep, and it quickly became some of the most unique House music of its time, falling into the newer genre of "G House" music. Combining hard hitting rap “barz”over House beats, he and Idontsleep created something amazing.
