Kris Beats (kb808) is an Australian-Lebanese DJ, songwriter, record producer, and recording studio entrepreneur. He developed a passion for music while deejaying in high school, earning him the title of official school "DJ" by the age of 14. In 2000, KB808's first big break as a record producer came when he remixed Destiny’s Child's "Jumpin Jumpin" for DMC UK PHAT BEATS and Blaze's "My Beat" on HOUSE NATION. Since then, he has produced records for many notable artists, including Dani Padron, Coolio, Kara, Adrian Swish, Double O Smoove, Jess Makaveli, JDro, Alpy, Mirna, GMC, Gymie, B.C.M, Trex Da Menace, Jase BeatHedz, and many more. Kris started his professional music career at DMC records in Prahran in the early 2000s, producing Techno and Drum & Bass with the likes of Gab Oliver and Atom 1. He quickly developed a passion for recording studios at a young age, picking up early production techniques and analogue/digital gear knowledge from mentors in the music industry, which has helped him to excel in various areas of expertise. Kris's mixing experience and passion for music of all sorts have attracted artists looking for a special edge to their sound. His specialties include Indie/Dance, Electronic, Dubstep, and Hip-hop. Kris is continually involved in developing young artists and producing and recording his own music and sound designs on solo and co-op projects at Cosmic Bounce Records in Melbourne, Australia.
