Born in Ohio, Hip Hop artist Blackwell has been writing and performing since the age of 15. He’s largely influenced by artists E-40, Eric B. and Rakim, LL Cool J, and Scarface. He's played gigs in Ohio, Florida, Pennsylvania, and New York. He's had various songs with over 100 million hits on Soundcloud, One of top 5 artists on Reverbnation, and over one million hits on YouTube. Blackwell uses old and new school lyrics which caters to the plus size community. He describes his music as, “Music to wake up your eardrum!” He’s opened for acts as Lil Wayne, LL Cool J, Bone Thugs-N-Harmony, Afroman, Big Sean, Layzie Bone, Drake, Ray Jr., and Twista. Blackwell formed his own production company, ”Blakknation Music”, that will feature upcoming acts of all genre of music, develops new artists new material.
