21 year-old Tyler Criso, musically known as TYLR, is an up and coming bass producer and DJ based in Raleigh, NC. Not tied to any specific genre, TYLR brings a unique and refreshing flair to the bass music scene that has garnered the attention of several underground Labels including Electric Hawk, Wavecraft Collective, and Headbang Society. TYLR draws inspiration for his music production from artists such as Chee, VCTRE, and NGHTMRE. Telling a musical story that draws the listener in is TYLR’s production focus. His production melds melodic and uplifting synths with low end heavy bass-lines and intricate percussion elements that keep the listener engaged. He creates a unique atmosphere through his beats that often include mind-bending, journey-esque melodic builds and just when you least expect it, some heavy bass that is sure to make your head spin. TYLR is also no stranger in putting together an energetic and immersive DJ experience that will capture any audience. Having shared the stage with legends like 12th Planet, Adventure Club, Supertask and more he has experience on stages of all sizes. In fact, he has established his name in the underground as a force to be reckoned with through performing in several East Coast headline shows.
