VybezDxntLie officially came together as a duo in 2018, but their journey together began long before that. The 2 met in Boston in kindergarten & they’ve been the dynamic duo that they are ever since. They grew up together immersed in their shared love of music, without realizing the potential they held within to create music themselves. In 2016, Kosmic J decided to act on her lifelong desire of learning how to produce & Kri, feeling her creativity calling, was on board for the new journey. Kosmic came upon The Sound Lab in Brockton & the duo began learning to produce, shocked by how talented their teachers told them they were. From that point, the universe continued to encourage them to go further. Today the creatrix production duo specializes in production, songwriting, singing, & collaborative projects. Their versatile sound comes from their extensive range of inspirations & influences they heard together growing up, attributing much of their influence to the many sounds of the city. From Hip Hop, to RnB, Rap, Pop, Latin, Caribbean, Trap, Rock, Soul, Punk, Jazz, Reggae, & more, they can’t go without acknowledging the impact that Boston's diverse cultural influences had on their expression as music makers.
