Morgan Finlay is a singer and songwriter from Vancouver, whose songs are marked by his powerful voice and honest story-telling. Drawing from a spectrum of influence from indie rock and pop, to folk and acoustic singer-songwriter, in the past two decades he has performed over 1,000 shows in 13 different countries. 
 Finlay began his career in Toronto, where he made his debut on the independent scene with the EP ‘Uppercut’. The EP’s single ‘zensong' was the spark for an acoustic tour through Germany and Austria in 2005, which was a great success and opened the door to a decade and a half of near-constant touring. Over the years, as his connection to his public has grown deeper, Finlay has financed five albums— Latitude (2011), Fault Lines (2013), New Harbor (2015), Little Calm (2018) and Shots of Light (2021)— via crowdfunding. 
 ‘Shots of Light’ touches on themes of isolation and navigating an unknown future, and consists of songs that he wrote for followers of his 'Homebound Concert Series’ weekly livestreamed shows.
