A cultural trailblazer at the cusp of an exciting new chapter with his third full-length album, Sahej Bakshi aka Dualist Inquiry is a pioneer of the Indian alternative music scene. Frequently dubbed the “poster boy of Indian electronica”, the producer, DJ and music entrepreneur shot to prominence and became one of Indian alternative music’s first crossover artists with the release of his 2013 debut LP ‘Doppelganger’. With his forthcoming, “When We Get There”, he is distilling more than a decade's worth of musical experience into his most intimate, vulnerable and authentic artistic expression yet. Starting his journey from a bedroom studio in New Delhi in 2010, Dualist Inquiry has earned widespread critical acclaim while building a dedicated following. He has supported the likes of Bonobo, Fatboy Slim, Flying Lotus, DJ Shadow, Beardyman and more. He has represented India on stages such as The Great Escape Festival UK, Berlin Music Week, Ultra Music Festival Seoul, Malasimbo Philippines and Music Matters Singapore. He has also delivered landmark performances on the most prominent stages of India’s music festivals including Magnetic Fields Festival, NH7 Weekender, Electric Daisy Carnival and more. He is also a seasoned regular at India’s foremost underground venues and events.
