 DJ RENA started DJing at the age of 8. When he was 11 years old, He had session with DJ Craze. At the age of 12, he won the DMC DJ World Championship. (The previous record was acquired by A-Trak at the age of 15)) After that, he won titles such as"2018 IDA World DJ Championships "" 2018 Kame House World Classic ", and as he thought about the composition and the selection of songs and the battle routine, RENA naturally became passionate about the music itself. And it was the time for him to choose to grow from an "athlete" to an "artist". 
 At the age of 15, He was obsessed with DAW such as Ableton Live, and in terms of hardware, he was blessed with his rendition of classic-sounding synths such as the Juno 106, Prophet 6, and Moog Subsequent 37, which his father’s. He’s Inspired by J Dilla, Flying Lotus, Squarepusher, Aphex twin, Ryuichi Sakamoto, and Japanese city pop. In 2021, he released his first "BATTLE COASTER". In 2022, he participated in the development of Maschine EXPANSION product by Native instruments.
