Naimah is a singer- songwriter born in Zambia and based in South Africa. With some heavy weight collaborations under her belt, Naimah’s sultry and sassy sound is global. Her African influence reflects in how she creatively brings together genres like afrobeats, pop, dancehall, R&B and hip hop together in earlier songs like “Long Time”, “Mario” and “Zamunda”, to South African genres like Deep House. Naimah’s early collaborations are with the likes of DJ Ganyani, Beenie Man, Jahrimba, The Godfather’s of Deep House among others. Releasing her debut EP in 2022, titled, Goal Digger, Naimah’s 6 track collaborative project features established and upcoming artists in Southern Africa. It fuses R&B, and Hip Hop on songs like “Focused”, “Off My Mind” and Afropop with R&B and Pop on songs like “Uthando Lwakho”, “Live your Life”, “Pretty Savage” and “Apart”. Naimah’s music is inspired by real life. As an independent artist, Naimah is not only setting herself apart as an artist who is crossing borders with her music, amd as a psychology graduate she’s setting herself up as a creative entrepreneur with a passion for music business, events, mental health advocacy and philanthropy.
