Born and raised in San Diego, YungShot known for his most popular release “Up Next” is leaving his mark in the Alt Rock/Hyperpop genre. His melodic flow and meaningful lyrics set him aside in the vast world of artistry. His goals to make a change in the music scene and create music for people to relate their issues to is what keeps him going. YungShot started creating music at 12 years old under the Hip-Hop genre, as he matured he started slowly making the switch to Alternative-Rock. His family, friends, and supportive fanbase are all factors in his continuation of music. Even in his earliest years YungShot had a passion for music, though he never knew where to start he always had the dream of being an artist, as he got older he started discovering ways to make music without pricey equipment; using a headset mic, and a free beat off YouTube YungShot created his first song “Number One”. As of today YungShot is still creating music in his bedroom using the software Adobe Audition to mix vocals.
