Amaurius Barker, better known by his stage name Big Wizzop has been paving his way in the rap industry since 2018, breaking barriers and making his own lane. Big Wizzop was born in Allendale-Fairfax County, South Carolina, on November 10th, 2001. Norfolk, Virginia became home ground and also where he wrote his first rap at sixteen years old. Releasing the track “Never Cared Remix” feat. YPC Rayyy was the first record that sparked attention and curiosity in the streets of Norfolk. Defining his music style can be classified as raw, authentic, and true trap music for the streets. Barker is not afraid to showcase his strength and talk about childhood hardship, foreign cars, relationships, sex and drugs. Having the opportunity to create lyrics that aligns with himself, is the true essence of lyricsm. He is who he is. His next big project was “Wizzop 4 President” which was an EP that gained so much notoriety, that this opportunity allowed him to perform at his high school prom. The first to ever do such a thing. As his success progressed “Golden Boy 2” , the mixtape, was released August 2021. This golden piece of work presents his versatility and creative wordplay. Inspired by Chief Keef, Young Thug, J Cole, and Gucci Mane, Big Wizzop is on the mission to making a name for himself and allowing his work to speak for itself.
