On December 5, 1983, Mychael “Mic Scrilla” Frazier was born into this world. Raised in poverty along with 5 other siblings, his mother the late Myra J. Frazier raised him in Cedartown, GA as a single parent. With no father present from the start, Mychael began to express his emotions through music. At the age of 13 he began to work on his craft as a MC. By the age of 15 he had learned how to produce tracks and formed a group known as C.T.G. (Cedartown Gangstaz). During that era he was known as Malice Mic. In 2000, life took a change for the worst when Mic Scrilla (Malice Mic) lost his mother; the only person he had grown to respect and love. At age 16, while still in high school he was left to the streets. Moving from home to home with different friends and family members, Mic was not content with his lifestyle and began to do what street hustlers do in order gain income. Shortly after this, Mic decided music would be his tool to make it out of the hood–and his new hustle would finance it. A year later he linked up with Brian Battle and began to build a recording company now known as Block Market Music. This way he could prosper from his skills and talents. During this time he decided to change his name from Malice Mic to Mic Scrilla for marketability purposes.
