Biography

Guitarist and producer Assaf Ayalon is releasing a new single from a second solo album. Unlike Rewire, the debut album which released in 2015, where its blues and rock-folk effects stood out, Ayalon presents us with the new materials without mediation, as he plays (Almost) all the instruments by himself to assure the listener that its the best way of broadcasting the messages he wants to convey. Resurrection was written and produced by Ayalon, there he takes his rugged but gentle voice and connects it with lyrics that takes us to distant districts in to slow the audience’s traffic into a journey. About the single: "In my inner experience, the desire for renewal stems from a feeling of loss and disappointment and all we need is some kind of gripe for a while, until anger rages." Assaf Ayalon began his musical career in the 1990s, as a guitarist and producer for the reggae composition "Roots of Africa". Over the past decade he has produced and accompanied many musical projects, including four albums by Alma Zohar, whose first of them, "Dabri," received the ACUM Award for Processor of the Year in 2008. Resurrection will be out on 24.10 and will be available on all streaming platforms. The single will be accompanied by a music video directed by Amit Schwachter.
