Music producer, songwriter and now artist THE NICE ONE, taught himself how to produce music at a young age, helping him create his music path as a producer and songwriter. While attending the Univ. of MD, he worked with local artist DK aka Wayne Watts, which led him to his first independent publishing deal. His production was featured in a "Stop the Violence Campaign" hosted by the Univ. of MD Hospital, which played in 72 different broadcasting channels around the nation, including ABC and FOX. He took over the local scene, performing at various shows and venues around the DMV area. He took his passion for the music industry and interned for both BET and Bad Boy Records, where he learned as much as he could and in turn went back to focusing on his own music business ventures. He created his record and publishing label, A.K.M.A. (Always Keeping Music Alive), and started to work with rapper/songwriter B.O.E. in LA. and produced B.O.E’s first single “Late Night (Face Numb). TNO is now stepping out as his own artist, both writing and singing on his self-produced beats. From his main influences coming from The Neptunes and Timbaland to the current sounds all around the world, TNO is a modern RnBass sound with an old school and cultural influence ready for the world to hear his music.
