Biography

Anduwaley Mason Smith (born 25 December 1996) known professionally as Shabba Duwaley is a Jamaican dancehall recording artist, singer and songwriter from the parish of Clarendon. Born to parents Geneva Smith and Orville Smith he was the first of four siblings. His first form of education was traced back to Cross Basic School and later Cross Primary and Junior High just a short distance away from his first school both of which are located in Palmers Cross, the district he grew up in. After completing his education at Cross Primary he graduated to the Bustsmante High in Lionel town. It was around this time that he went to stay with his cousin Ashanni Smith who influenced him in wanting to have music career. At school the name he went by was Bobo Shabba and most though the name would have stuck. Once he graduated high school in 2013 he dived off into a journey of self realization. He never took on any permanent jobs, simply dabbling in a few areas. For the next three years he continued to do this while working on his artistry on the side. In the year 2016 he released his first international hit “Shabba rock” and officially changed his name to Shabba Duwaley. A combination of the first name he went by and his actual name. In the years to come he released songs such as Christmas bleaching Anthem, So Them Tan, Pretty Nana, Free and a few remix to songs. In the year 2018 he released his first mixtape entitled “The Gothic mixtape” and in 2019
