Biography

Coming from out of the rocky abysses within the high land bluffs of Colorado, traveling the windy high plains of the front range region by foot, and accompanied by his delinquent compadres beatboxing, a young Oscify first began to discover the art of the freestyle. These sessions continued to expand as they moved from smoke filled cars to basements full of spiderwebs, to school cafeteria lunch tables, to raging and rocking out at the rowdiest of house parties, and ultimately, after a few years, stages. While in college, Oscify started posting songs to internet websites where he was soon discovered by G1 Frazier, a producer and CEO of New Ground Collabo Records, where they would release a collaborative album between Doc Os and German producer Ulliversal for a group called Versify, released in summer 2006. Shortly after, Os began performing heavily throughout Colorado with many names in the hip-hop scene for the next few years. During this time, Os released many free download non-commercial projects through Skimp Killah's Spruce Goose Records, including projects from groups including Versify, Magnificent Wingspan, & Heart Break Kids / Purple Elks. In 2011, Oscify formed the group Are You Serious with Boonhamin, David Ochoa, Charlie 2Bit, and DJ Jus Panda. The group released several mixtapes and an album.
