Joules (she/they) is a queer Colombian-Canadian singer/songwriter making sweet, soothing tunes that cross into the genres of R&B, Neo-Soul and Pop. Joules started playing piano at a young age. She would write songs and poetry while looking out the window on the bus to school. Writing music has always been (and always will be) a coping mechanism in order to gain emotional awareness and self-soothe. They have learned to use songwriting as a tool for self-reflection and to speak their truth in every lyric.
