Raised on jump up, he later sidestepped into darker styles and found himself on the dirty side of the tracks. The result is a performer that’ll get the crowd bouncing with intelligent sounds that stay with you after the set. A compulsive experimentalist, Strafe has been sidestepping categorisation since the beginning, transitioning from jump up bangers to deeper, techy tones, to melodic tracks with female vocalists.
