From shadows of the world renowned Los Angeles, California. A new artist HotBoyJune emerges towards the spotlight. The versatility and uniqueness of his voice and delivery is what makes such an emphasis on labeling HotBoy as an artist rather than just a rapper. Although much of his family is from Los Angeles, HotBoy has a wide range of influence musically, being that his father is originally from Cleveland, Ohio and much of his mother’s family originated in Shreveport, Louisiana before migrating to Los Angeles. He grew up in Los Angeles but maintains that much of his musical influence came from the cultures of his family outside of Los Angeles. After watching his childhood friends drift towards a more dangerous lifestyle within the treacherous streets of his hometown. HotBoy’s mother made the decision to send him to Calabasas Highschool located in the beautiful suburban neighborhood of Calabasas, California. Although he felt homesick at times he feels he also benefited from this chapter of his life. This environment inspired HotBoy to create his first song “Party in The Hills”. The song began to gain buzz around his highschool which then motivated him to continue to pursue a career in music. Though he is still young and hasn’t been in the rap game for very long HotBoy prides himself on conducting himself as a ‘Boss’ and he insists on thinking as such. The future is bright for HotBoyJune, He is one of the more exciting and unique artists of his time.
