Pan Tèrra is a singer + songwriter + producer from Lagos, Nigeria based in New York and Providence, RI. She had lived in four continents by the age of 18 and her sound embodies her multicultural upbringing and proclivity for nomadism. Her music weaves together an intricate sonic tapestry of R&B, psychedelic soul, afro-pop, folk and musical theatre influences to create a uniquely global, universally enjoyable sound that she calls ‘nomadic soul-pop’. She started singing at the age of 7 after falling in love with ‘The Sound of Music’. From then on, she featured in countless musical productions, choirs around the world, a cappella groups, and a college band. After growing up in England, Nigeria, and Hong Kong, she moved to the US to attend Brown University. In 2021, she was awarded the highly coveted Jean and Francis Madeira “Excellence in Music” Award and Grant from the Brown Club of Rhode Island for her exceptional musical ability and potential. In the past year, she has performed primarily in New York and Boston, playing several intimate Sofar Sounds shows, and opening for pop acts like Eva Westphal and Rap legends like Lupe Fiasco; earning an enthusiastic cosign from the latter. Her highly anticipated debut single, ‘Godfada’, was released on January 4th 2024. She just released ‘Red Hot Mercedes’, a sweet and sultry earworm fit for a James Bond movie soundtrack. It is only up from here for Pan Tèrra. Get ready 🐆✨
