My name is Cije’ R. Carey, better known as R-Jay. I am a songwriter, recording artist, producer, and musical engineer. Becoming a mainstream artist has been my dream since I was in primary school at the age of 10. Feeding my family and having generational wealth so I can be the first to break the cycle in my family. I’ve been a recording artist for over a decade and counting, performing for fetes before covid hit the world in 2019, made my name known by doing remixes of popular dancehall/reggae songs. I am a loving soul who wants to share my experiences with the world, to help people when they get depressed or have low self-esteem. I am a beacon of wisdom for the new generation.
