Tekneke is an artist signed to Ryda 4 Life Recordz from the Westside of Detroit (7-Mile & Meyers). He was an All-City Basketball Player in Detroit graduated high school in 2003. He was recruited to play college basketball at Tennessee State University by then Coach Nolan Richardson but after coaching changes he decided not to continue playing after freshman year. It was in Nashville where he decided to take rap serious after basketball and met Producer K.E. and artist Blaze. They begin recording music released joint project The Message in 2005 with local Dj-D.J. Whitey. To date he has released classic mixtapes The Best Out, Better Than B4, Patiently Waiting, and The Best Ever which featured collaborations with well known artist in the industry such as Young Buck, Starlito, Reggie Son, Ray Lavender, Trick Trick and Rashad Morgan. More recently he has worked with artist such as Rufus Sims, Philmore Greene, Kid Vishis (Royce Da 5’9” brother), and Detroit Legend Stretch Money. He has also been featured on the feature film soundtracks of movies Frank Blue & The Council. He is a longtime collaborator of childhood friend/Producer and Engineer L.K. Tekneke is also a member of Historically Black Fraternity, Omega Psi Phi Fraternity Inc.
