After growing up playing music together, and playing in various bands over the years, Chris Woods (Keys) and Nick Woods (Drums) set out to create something of their own. A concept album that features 10 different vocalists, and 11 different lead guitar players over their original compositions. This 2016 self-titled debut features Casey Crescenzo of The Dear Hunter, Thomas Erak of The Fall of Troy, world renown singer/songwriter Elliott Yamin and more. Also Produced by Casey Crescenzo, “The Woods Brothers” album follows a continuous story about the volatile nature of mankind as a species, and how we are stuck in a never ending cycle of building and establishing, fighting, destroying, and rebuilding again. “Terra Firma” starts the story where it will ultimately end. Leaving everything you know behind in the wake of war, destruction and death, to search for new beginnings. We then find ourselves starting anew with “The Beginning” and “One Foot Forward” only to suffer the same cycle of our past. This leads us down an uncertain path with “My Enemy” fueled by the “Hunger for Power” which leads to “War” and “Destruction” and then ultimately ending up where we began in search of a new home once again with “Terra Nova”.
