Stephen Thompson is a Chicago-based hip hop artist and producer known for his reflective lyrical content as well as his versatile rap flows over melodic rap production. Raised in the suburbs of Chicago, Thompson began seriously rapping and producing music during his junior year at Waubonsie Valley High School after giving up his pursuit of being a three-sport athlete. Now 24, he continues to chase his dream of being a full time performing artist. Eager to share his life story, Thompson released the first side of his full length "Take Me Back" album on his 22nd birthday on September 25th, 2020. From the album's nostalgic "Take Me Back" title track about his childhood to the concluding "Changing Me" song recounting his christian testimony, Thompson's five track EP release highlights five iconic seasons in his life journey leading up to the beginning of his high school days. The project keeps listeners engaged by unfolding Thompson's life journey in chronological order. Each track tells a specific story that builds off of the previous one and contributes to Thompson's life story as a whole.
