Composer and Pianist. Born in Mollet del Vallès, Catalonia in 1971. His musical formation is developed in several fields: composition, orchestration, teaching and piano interpretation. In the field of composition has received up to eight awards. In the rol of pianist, he has played all over Catalonia and Spain, and in different European countries such as France, Switzerland, Germany, Italy and Poland. He has collaborated with artists such as Claudi Arimany, Gonçal Comellas, Cristoph Rahn, Eduard Sánchez and Francesc Llongueres, among others. His works catalog as a composer includes works for different formations and stylistic genres, combining classical music and jazz, thus demonstrating its versatility and creative ambition. The prestigious flautist Claudi Arimany, contacted- 2012-with Santi Escura for commissioned the Simphonyc Orchestration of the work Valse di bravura, Op. 33 (Arr. S. Escura for 2 Flutes & Orchestra) composed by Franz Doppler and Karl Doppler from which the orchestra score was lost-, and that, Santi Escura orchestrated from the version for two flutes and piano. It was played and recorded by the Catalan flute player Claudi Arimany, the Austrian flute player Walter Auer and the Orquesta Sinfónica Ciudad de Elche, conducted by Leonardo Martinez. Since then, the collaboration with Claudi Arimany in his record project of the integral of the work of the Doppler brothers has been kept frecuently.
