Also I released my “Best of Northern Light Star” Album all songs are in 528 Hz and my newest “The Stellar Mixtape” is releasing 4/13/24! Back when I was 14 years old, around 2001, I was really into R&B. I was in a phase of looking at the stars at that time at night by myself and one of those nights I decided I wanted to try writing poetry. I guess my inspiration was the R&B at the time, the stars (which is why that’s in my artist name), and Jagged Edge’s song “Without You”. Once I progressed with poetry I moved on to raps and I decided to call myself Young J when I first started out. I performed my Senior year in high school at a rally and loved that! I knew I wanted to do that all my life and it happened! I linked up with Remix Tha Don, the CEO of Def Efx and later signed with him. I moved to West Sacramento in 2010 and started gaining momentum. I started networking with artists, a former Universal Records A&R, getting on radio, and performed all over my area of Northern California (the Light that comes out of this area is what my artist name means). As of 2017 I have released 11 CDs of Albums and Mixtapes with plenty of unreleased songs as well as songs being worked on for further releases. I have reached my goals as an artist thanks to my supporters and I want to thank you all!
