Delcherro (aka Nico Aponte) is a producer and DJ who is still trying to figure out his nationality! He has resided in many places throughout his life including: Japan, Belgium, the Netherlands, and is currently in the United States studying to be a music teacher. He is known for his atmospheric intros that puts listeners in a trance, and then hits them with a barrage of heavy but unique bass sounds. Nico first found his love of electronic music at the very young age of 12, when one of his friends showed him a few releases from the label Monstercat. Ever since then, he has been obsessed. He didn’t really find his love for riddim dubstep until the age of 15, where he was browsing through soundcloud and was entranced by the sounds of artists such as Satsujin, Flaxdubz, and Trentcast. He really took producing and DJing seriously after graduating high school in 2019 at the age of 17. Taking inspiration from 8-bit video games and various sounds he enjoys from TV shows, YouTube videos, and the outside world, Delcherro went on to make many memorable songs you still hear in sets around the world today. He continues to make tracks that show his personality as we speak! Delcherro has gained the support of many major artists such as Subfiltronik, Akirah, Ayonikz, Akeos, Fayte, Motus, Khold and many more. He has released on many prominent labels. He’s not planning to leave your radar anytime soon!
